Lemongrass oil

OHHH How I love lemon grass oil. So many good uses. Im going to try to list my favorite uses and those that I havent tried yet.

My first comment is, get yourself a spray bottle, add some lemon grass oil to water and spritz around your house. The fragrance alone is fab. Although most say it smells like a citronella candle, because why? Yes lemon grass is in citronella candles so to start off my list..

Insect repellant - get away from the DEET. Spray some lemon grass oil/water all over when spending time outdoors in the mosquitos and bugs

Antidepressant - I like to spray my wrist with the spray and sniff it periodically when Im having an off day. You can also add some in some tea for the effects.

Fever reducer - Add a couple drops to a tea

Anti-septic - put on wounds

Gas - Again put some drops in tea to help the intestines

Diuretic - Reminds me, I had salt overload this weekend, wheres my tea and lemon grass oil

Ticks - Yes I combatted my first year with ticks but putting some lemon grass oil spray on my dogs. You can also put it on their collar directly and the ticks hate it.

Skin toner - I use this everyday, I premixed some lotion and added lemongrass oil to the lotion and I use it daily.  I also use it on my hands and arms because my skin is so dry.  It takes away that snack like skin. You can also just add it to jojoba oil and use a little bit as a moisturizer

LEMONGRASS OIL IS SAID TO....

Lower Blood Pressure
Fleas
Repairs connective tissues
Anti-inflamatory
Lymphatic Detoxx
